The job included supervision of the transhipment, such as, for example, avoiding spillage of the cargo from the seven delivering barges, and representative sampling of the whole batch of malt. The German cargo, made from mostly French malting barley, had been transported from Germany to The Netherlands by French, Belgian and Dutch barges and was transshipped into a vessel with a Greek and Filipino crew, and which vessel will bring the cargo to Brazil. It is no doubt that we will always be reminded of the truly international environment in which we operate!
In December 2020, Qualitas Group completed a three days inspection and sampling job at transhipment of 8.000 tons of barley malt into a large sea-going vessel, at Rotterdam-Europoort.
